MIDANA was established in 1990 as a joint venture in cooperation with German capital. The firm's primary product is high quality ready-to-wear women's apparel.

From the very beginning, the company had been equipped with modern sewing machines and state-of-the-art production methods. Due to its commitment to high quality, MIDANA quickly became a notable competitor in the European market. Concentrated in the German marketplace, which accounts for 95% of its export, the products can be found in such prestigious shopping centers as: Karstadt, OTTO, Baur, Neckerman, to name a few.

Through 1992, MIDANA's product assortment included women's suits, jackets, skirts, pants, sport jackets and blouses. In 1992 re-organization efforts and changes in the strategic direction brought positive results to the company. Among them was the company's decision to shift its focus and to concentrate on the production of only skirts and pants. This decision increased the yearly production of skirts from 60,000 to 200,000 pieces, and the pants from 20,000 to 100,000 pairs.

In-vogue patterns, high quality products and dependable delivery, contributed in making MIDANA categorically one of the most successful producers of women's apparel in the world. By 1996, that reputation coupled with industry recognized commitment to excellence, earned the company the distinction of membership in the elite group of Polish Industrialists. This standing was further confirmed in 1997 as published and signed by Vice Prime-Minister and Minister of Finances Leszek Balcerowicz, Treasure Secretary Emil W±sacz, Minister of Economy Janusz Steinhoff, and Urszula Grzelońska of the Institute for Economic Studies.

MIDANA continues to invest in its infrastructure by not only expanding the facility, but also by upgrading its machinery. The quality of the final products is reflective of the company's commitment to training and maintaining a highly skilled stuff which utilizes the industries most modern techniques in model working conditions.
